Lost Art of Mystery

This morning I woke up from a dream so powerful that it continued running through my mind as I got out of bed. In the dream, I had gone to a large modern estate made of clean cut light slab marble, almost like a museum or institutional setting, but without any windows. I was there to interview for a job. Someone kept telling me how much money I would make, pressuring me to do the interview, even though I felt very uncomfortable.

I was escorted by a security guard out onto a massive plaza. The entire structure was built with the same light slabs of marble, surrounded by extremely high smooth walls. The blue sky was visible far above and the sunlight was shining down to illuminate the massive space. It felt like a trap or a large maze. Businessmen milled about wearing expensive suits.

As I looked around, I stared in shock. I saw it everywhere. A watery messy red cryptic font scrawled across the towering pale walls. The large letters were intermittently mixed with arrows pointing this way and that. It was a message for all to see and it was clearly written in fresh blood. More men appeared. They were extremely angry over the message, demanding to get cleaners to remove it immediately. The anger quickly escalated and they began violently yelling, arguing and intimidating anyone who dared question the meaning of it all. The strange script and wildly painted curved arrows pointed in various directions towards groups of small digital looking squares which seemed to imply various missing persons and locations. Terrified, I knew I didn’t want to work there, but they made me wait because now I had seen the writing on the wall and they wouldn’t let me leave.

This was one of those dreams that left me feeling on edge. I need to go do something “light and fluffy” now. It was just a dream, right?

P.S. Oddly, I had this dream the night before the Epstein Files were released.
